Cairn Communications is a public relations company helping entrepreneurs build and strengthen their businesses every day.
After collaborative discussions with the owner of Cairn, Laurie Carlson McGrath, this identity package was created to convey a modern sensibility with the grit and determination needed to help a start-up maintain a path to visibility and profitability.
The logo has undertones of a refined version of a cairn (rock) within the "I" that symbolizes Laurie's Irish Heritage.

It's not often that two separate, personal interests collide. But my passion for bodybuilding and design finally came together. I got the opportunity to meet Kai, Mr. Olympia runner-up, in person and while signing my winning ad, he told me his first love is art. It was an unbelievable experience.
Coleraine Design, based just outside of Philadelphia, is a small web design and consulting firm specializing in helping small businesses create and maintain an online presence.
Séamus, the creative director, found me on Twitter and asked if I would be interested in teaming up with "the Bhoys" to help launch a new app they had in the works. He challenged me by requesting custom graphics to polish the final product. Along with the app support, I was also asked to help with the launch.
To generate online awareness, we put together a campaign that included social media ads, page backgrounds and custom branded t-shirts.
This project was the beginning of a great relationship and friendship. Séamus and the "Bhoys" invited me to Philly to meet the team and to be part of a special event.

IPG is a family owned print house that specializes in high volume print while still facilitating between large and small business. Serving the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, this mostly family-run business has been so successful because of the amount of passion and dedication they put into their work. Since the branding is set at a personal level, developing a truly stand-out website was one way IPG could continue to distinguish their business.
I worked with the owners to completely reorganize their content, streamline their online experience, and build a highly engaging site. The site has 24 total pages with CSS dropdown menu, animated Flash intro, and animated rollovers.

The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA®) is an international society of radiologists. Through its educational resources, RSNA provides hundreds of thousands of continuing education credits toward physicians' maintenance of certification.
RSNA reached out to me to help solve a problem they were having, bad design. They had a poster designed through a local print shop and they were not happy with the layouts. So they reached out to PB for help.
The goal of this poster was to recognize RSNA's Long-Term Subscriber Program to their high-standard journals. This poster design would be hung in select libraries and medical institutions to recognize the years of loyalty to RSNA.

The Connex Group recently came to PB and asked us to redesign their prospective client materials. The Connex Group is a unique business information consulting company, who helps their clients achieve their strategic business objectives. I was tasked with creating a digital brochure with a fresh perspective while utilizing Connex's existing identity and content, including existing photos, copy, and visual elements. The challenge was to determine how to reconfigure those existing elements to emphasize what Connex Group has to offer.
To celebrate a great teacher a great coach and a great father the Gummerson Family founded The Ron Gummerson Summer Track Meet to not only celebrate the passing of Coach Ron Gummerson but to also give an opportunity to a high school athlete to win a scholarship. Honored that the family reached out to me to help with graphic support for this event I created an identity system and showed how the logo would be seen on merchandise, advertisements, and social media channels.
The track meet is on it's 5th year and growing each year...
The team at IDR+ has been creating happy homes for rescued animals for years. I originally partnered with them in 2010 to redesign their logo and help develop local campaigns. Recently, I was asked to help them launch a "Rock For Rescue" campaign to help raise money and generate awareness for their brand.
